God wants you to be successful in 2012!
That’s right. God wants success for you. In your
everyday life – at school, with your family and friends – success is the goal.
Let me explain. Proverbs 3:6 says, “In everything you do, put God first, and He
will direct you and crown your efforts with success.” In the Hebrew language,
the word “success” means the ability to make wise decisions.
No doubt you and I will have some more ups and downs,
positives and negatives in this New Year. We will make good decisions and bad.
But please know that your Heavenly Father wants you to have more good decisions
than bad and He wants to bless your life.
I am challenging all of the Grace Christian School
students to make 2012 their most successful year ever.
·
Pick one subject and try to raise your
grade.
·
Spend a few extra minutes each day on
that subject you struggle with.
·
Tell someone daily what makes him or her
special.
·
Tell at least one family member each day
that you love them.
·
Every day pick one person in the school and
pray for them.
·
Thank God each night for the gifts and
talents He has given you.
I want to encourage you, especially in this brand new
year, to make 2012 a banner year. If at any time you start to hit a rough spot
just remember Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me.”
I
will be praying for each of you to have a successful 2012.
Happy
New Year!
