I heard about a lady
who was suing a contractor who built her a brand new house. When asked why she
was suing him, she said that he had built a great house, he just built it on
the wrong foundation. That made me think about the importance of the foundation
we provide our children both at school and in Jesus Christ. To grow
academically strong, we all need to have excellent teachers and an environment
that is conducive to learning. Our
expected school wide learning results address this daily. When students leave Grace Christian School we
want them to be Academically Prepared, Spiritually Equipped and Responsible
Citizens and all of this goes together to provide each of our students a strong
foundation. A foundation that can
continue to be built on well into the future, so that our students can grow to
be role models for the next generation.
In-house enrollment
for current GCS families started on January 31, 2012 and will continue through February
27, 2012. Then on February 28, 2012 open
enrollment to the public will start. We
already have a waiting list for some grade levels for next year and priority
will be given to our current families who enroll before February 28th.
To insure we are able to continue to
partner with you in building solid foundations that will last, we suggest
getting your re-enrollment packets in early.
If you are a potential
family and are interested in attending Grace Christian School, please give us a
call at 714 761-5200 and we would be happy to give you a tour and share with
you how we can team up to provide your child an excellent foundation both
academically and spiritually.
Blessings,
Dr. Don Pettinger Ed.D.
