Hi my name is Jackie Fraser. I am privileged to be entering my 7th year of teaching at GCS. I have been involved with our school, as a parent, for 13 years. Both of my boys attended GCS and I have loved being a part of this wonderful school family as a parent and now faculty. I have my MA in Psychology from Pepperdine University and my BA in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach. I love reading, the outdoors and interior design. I live in West Garden Grove with my husband and two sons. We also share our home with a dog named Chance and a cat named Gizmo.
Most of you know, I started my career here at GCS as the art teacher. I loved my position teaching children to love art and the importance of using and exercising their right brains. It has been fun and challenging getting to know every child in every grade through the years. I feel confident I have left them with a creative outlet and skill they can carry with them into their later years.
I have received a new calling this year moving into room 5, 2nd grade. I am so excited for this opportunity to impact your children beyond art and to teach in a full time capacity. God has opened this door and I'm looking forward to this new chapter and the blessings that await. I am excited to have your children as my students, getting to know them in all the wonderful ways they have been created and adapt teachings to their strengths. I am mostly excited for the opportunity to teach them to love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. Thank you for entrusting them to me in this great responsibility. I am looking forward to a fun, memorable, successful year together.
